soal jawab annoying

aku pantang betol la kalau aku tanya sungguh-sungguh tapi orang tu jawab macam gampang. nak tau jawapan gampang camane? aku leh bagi contoh je ar :

Q : eh nak keluar ngan sape?
A : ngan kawan.

obviously la mangkok aku tau la kau keluar ngan kawan. dah name pun duduk serumah dengan member dah tentu lah kau keluar ngan kawan. and obviously jugak kawan kau tu kawan aku so ape ke susah sangat nak cakap nama?

Q : pakai cantik2 nak gi mane?
A : keluar

bodoh ade ke orang pakai cantik2 nak duduk dalam rumah. ni lagi satu makhluk bodoh. dah tentu ar kau nak keluar, tapi soklan aku tu mesti la sebab aku nak tau kau nk keluar pegi mane. buat perabis air liuq aku je tanye soalan kat kau kalau kau setakat nak jawab "keluar" yang obviously orang bijak pandai get it kau nak keluar rumah!

Q : masak pe?
A : ayam

stress ah camni.

Seniority part II

memang i am totally against seniority. tapi dalam satuuuu je situation yang aku sokong gile seniority ; ADIK BERADIK.

sebab adik2 aku semua berperangai seperti hantu. memasing struggle je panggil aku 'akak' tapiiiii kalau datang diorang punya perangai hantu tuuu, kau 'akak' ke 'kak long' ke 'kak ngah' ke 'nenek' ke ape semua tu takde makna lagi. dengan serta merta terus bantai 'aku-kau'.

aku kalau marah diorang ni, mimpi la diorang nak takut. time kecik2 dulu diorang takut la sampai nangis2, tapi lepas tu aku nangis 2 kali ganda lagi kuat sebab nanti diorang report kat mak aku, mak aku hentam aku balik walaupon aku innocent 120%. sekarang ni mimpi la diorang nak nangis, silap2 aku yang nangis sebab stress marah2 tapi diorang tak takut.

yang paling aku takkan lupa sampai mati ada this one time aku gaduh dasyat gila ngan aisyah in the car. memang gaduh serious ar ni, bengang sangat sampai tarik2 rambut while i was driving. boleh? aku ingat la dia pun pandai pakai otak tkdenya nak tarik rambut aku balik sebab aku tengah drive, mane leh tarik rambut orang tgh drive, nanti ganggu konsentrasi, tapiiiii, aku rasa dalam otak dia "takpe kakak aku terer je drive so apa ada hal aku tarik rambut dia time tgh drive" maka berlakukan episodes of tarik menarik rambut between me and aisyah dalam kereta, and yes, aku terus je drive. bodoh siot. padahal gaduh sebab memasing berkira tak nak keluar kereta belikan air soya untuk berbuka. last2 ape pun tak dapat.

see, diorang apa ada hal aku ni kakak ke ape ke janji lepas. and we don't usually say sorry, selalu baik sendiri je. tau tau je esok lusa dah boleh gelak sama-sama balik. aku tak pernah la simpan sangat benda-benda ni dalam hati. sebab adik beradik pun kan, kau nak gaduh lama-lama pun tak berbaloi, esok lusa kau panggil aku jugak mintak tolong. kekadang tu baru gaduh kaw-kaw tak sampai sejam, tetiba carik aku mintak tolong hantar pegi rumah kawan. perrrgghh hangen tak hangen. aku nak tak nak kena la layan kan, kalau tak mak aku pulak yang bising. tapi ade je time aku paksa bebudak ni mintak maaf kat aku. ahahaa. tatau la if it still work now? dah lama pulak tak gaduh ngan diorang sejak duduk india nih. wahaha.

so, kan best kalau boleh praktikkan seniority within adik-beradik especially kalau adik-adik anda memang berperangai seperti hantu jebon sebab having these kids as my adik adalah contributory factor kepada kehidupan yang lebih stress dan stress dan stress.

if there's really such thing as seniority in siblings, kehidupan akan menjadi lebih tenang dan aman damai.

Seniority

one major difference between student perempuan and student lelaki adalah seniority. most of the time, seniority adalah sangat melampau-lampau among the female students but the guys can actually get along well regardless of age.

in this particular matter, i prefer to be one of the guys. seniority is only for idiots who thinks that having a bigger number on their age makes 'em superior than ever. it sucks to admit that seniority is actually quite common in girls.

the idea of seniority is for us to respect those who are of older age than us. yes i totally get that and i do respect those seniors of mine (as long as mereka berperangai seperti senior) tapi for some seniors, respect is just not good enough. diorang struggle jugak nak gunakan title senior tu to the max that they do stupid stuffs like ragging etc in the name of seniority. that's just, pathetic. okay, aku tak nak cerita pasal ragging coz that is so high school, so macam takde kena mengena sangat dengan kehidupan masa kini. ditch that part.

i am against seniority. on the surface, it may sound like aku ni snobbish little girl yang bajet star tak nak respect seniors and all. tapi kalau kau tak pendek akal, u won't think that way. why do i hate seniority is because it limits students from different batches (and age) from mingling. kalau ada seniority melampau, tak erat la silatulrahim, tak gitewww u alllzzz? ahaha

me and the juniors!

bukti yang menunjukkan aku sangat against seniority is when i was in school. takde maknanya nak bersenior-junior bagai. i was one cool senior okay (halamaks statement sendiri buat ;p) maksudnya, i got along well with the juniors. siap boleh lepak sama2 dekat bilik makan share2 makanan, stay up gossip2 dengan juniors, nyanyi ramai2 time tengah mandi kt bilik air (tp mandi lain2 okay) berkerjasama letak tong sampah banyak2 depan pintu warden yg kitorang tak suka (eh eh?) dan sebagainya.

seronok okay kalau seniority tu tak melampau. aku tak rasa pulak diorang tak respect aku as a senior walaupun kitorang close macam tu. of course, dekat asrama dulu they did call me 'kak ira' but honestly, and personally, aku tak berapa nak suka orang address me as 'kakak' kalau kau setakat muda setahun dua. to me, muda setahun dua tu still di kira sebaya so tak perlu lah struggle nak panggil aku kakak. tapi takde la bermaksud aku benci bebudak yang panggil aku kakak. suka hati korang la kot. and aku sendiri pun takkan pernah reti nak bahasakan diri aku 'akak' with my juniors. i can only bahasakan diri aku 'akak' with my siblings je, or dengan budak yang 10 tahun lagi muda dari aku. tah, it feels weird la nak bahasakan diri 'akak' with juniors. haha.

sebaya je pun kan? apesal nak menggelabah
sangat senior junior beb.

and on my side jugak, aku pun tak suka sangat panggil orang 'kakak' if she's just 1 or 2 years older. bukan apa, bukan tak respect ke apa, cuma if dah panggil 'kakak', automatically rasa ada gap dekat situ. it doesn't feel "sebaya" anymore. ingat senang ke nak buat lawak sengal if the gap is already established? nah. not fun anymore. boo.

bukan semua lah. some people i can still call her 'kakak' and still boleh buat lawak sengal etc. but tah, maybe that's just my way of interpreting things kot : "bila dah panggil 'kakak', dah ada gap, so it's no longer fun". dat's what i think lah. what say u?

tapi aku takdelah berkira sangat tak nak panggil orang 'kakak', it depends, kalau rasa cam kena panggil 'kakak', aku layankan je. tapi aku paling paling paling menyampah kalau orang tu sendiri sound suruh aku panggil dia 'kakak' lagi2 kalau dia tua setahun je dari aku (which most of the time, tak sampai setahun pun, ade la 3-4 bulan lagi tua dari aku) eh tolong eh, sangat takleh blah. memang aku terus palang, sumpah aku tak suka. i have no explanation for this, just tak suka. maybe sebab aku rasa dia macam menggelabah sangat nak orang respect dia kot. boo!

lagi satu jenis seniority yang aku paling nyampah among the girls adalah apebila senior2 bajet bagus ni tak pasal2 label and kutuk2 junior yang tak buat pasal. eee tolong lah grow up. padahal kekadang tu junior tu tak buat pape pun, baik je aku tengok, tapi sebab budak kecik tu cun sket, kau terus nak cop budak tu gedik and ajak satu geng kau benci dia. kesian kot budak tu. tak ke tu perangai menggelabah as a senior?

tah, this one aku observe dari sekolah dulu lah. bila budak junior baru masuk, memang ade setengah2 member stalk diorang habis-habisan. asal budak tu kaye sket, pakai barang branded, cun sket, manje sket, atau caught menangis time call parents, terus kena cop. hek eleh, padahal kau pun nangis same time call parents masa awal2 masuk asrama dulu. tah hape2 la punya mentality. lepas tu terus pakat pulaukan budak tu ramai2 in the name of seniority. wtf?

gossip tgh2 malam sebelum pasang
strategy kenakan reban aka warden. haha.

that's why i envy the boys when it comes to this. diorang lepak je boleh masuk ngan sesape tak kira la umur kau berapa. tapi kalau perempuan, harapan la! kalau umur kau 20, kau lepak ngan budak umur kau senyap2, takyah nak join kitorang sebab umur kitorang 21. pergh. menggelabah gila. but apart of the seniority being the main reason, i think girls are naturally like that. pfffftttt.

p/s : so does that makes me half boyish then?

p/s/s : let's not think we're superior than others because age is just a number. mari bergembira!

prezzie

looks like everyone's birthday is approaching. so hey, what do you wish for your birthday, really?

as for me, i never really had a grand birthday celebration. i prefer it to be small and private but meaningful. i don't need a whole bunch of strangers (or friends who come for the sake of coming) to celebrate my birthday coz seriously, number doesn't matter. it's the sincerity that counts.

i'm not the kind of person who gives away birthday presents (or souvenirs) to just anyone. yeah my bad. i only care to give presents to people who are dear to my heart. and i don't just give for the sake of giving, i give what i'd like them to have, or better still, i give things that they are looking forward to have.

seriously, if you think you give present because you have to give, then don't. give 'em presents because u want to, not because you have to. because seriously, it shows and it hurts.

when you're sincere enough to give someone something, you don't just grab anything, but you'll choose carefully. you don't just care about ur own satisfaction (with the fact that u've done a good deed by giving away present to someone) but also the receiver's.

of course, price does matter, unless you're damn rich. don't expect something grand from me, have some mercy with the fact that i'm still a student and i rely totally on the scholarship money. i might not be able to give you that expensive thing u want, but i can give you all the sincerity that i have.

hey, when i was in standard 5, i spent around rm4 to buy a really cute notebook as a birthday present for my close friend. rm4 was really a lot for an 11-year-old girl, mind you. i picked the note book carefully, spending quite some time looking for the cutest possible and bought it, there goes my whole week of saving.

i proudly gave the present worth rm4 to her and before she could thank me ;

"awak, hadiah ni tak sampai rm5 pon kan?"

ahaha i was speechless, yes it's true, it didn't even reach rm5. sentap a bit lah but i ignored it. heheh looking back, nasib baik we were still little kids who say things we don't mean, otherwise i would have hate you for the rest of my life. in case u're wondering, yes, i'm talking about u, kamilah! ;p

but anyway, the point is, price doesn't matter as long as u're sincere.

but i miss those days at school when i used to bring a big paper bag on my birthday as i was expecting lots and lots of presents from friends. hehehe. yes, i went back home with the paper bag full of presents. how cute is that? but that was years ago when i was still that little kid who fancy presents so much ;p

these days, i appreciate presents (yeah keep em coming haha) but i don't think i can ever be fooled by those presents that comes without any sincerity. camane nak cakap eh. it's not that i don't appreciate stuffs, but hey, it's too obvious i just can't ignore that feeling. i think u have to experience it for yourself before you could think that what i feel really does make sense.

p/s : that is why i hate the idea of giving away key chains or things like that as souvenirs because seriously serious, how many of us really do appreciate that? heh. don't lie lah come on, it shows.

How To Walk In High Heels?

Personally, I think high heels are the most beautiful invention for women lah. Okay, if you know me closely, then you know that I have this unexplained craze towards shoes particularly high heels. Well, different women different obsession kot. It could be handbags, jewelry, lipstick! (teeeheeee!), earrings (used to be a big fan back in high school) so on and so forth.
So, why high heels you might wanna ask. I started wearing high heels when I was as young as 13, matched with my baggy pants and loose shirt. HAHA. FASHION DISASTER weh, uh oh, juga with my round spectacles! LOL. So, it's obvious that I didn't slip on my high heels for cosmetic purpose back then.

But true enough, wearing high heels help to boost up your confidence level. Okay, this may not be true for everyone, but it does hold true for me. Kenapa eh? Maybe because I boleh jalan sama tinggi with my friends who have model height kot. Being the shortest (no, I'm not talking about me haha) among your friends can be pretty depressing. In this case, height does matter.

Okaylah, I'm not gonna give you tips on how to walk in high heels because you already know. Common sense la kan. If you're not used to walk in high heels, you can start off slowly with a steady chunkier heels rather than the thin pointed stiletto kind of high heels. You need to first learn how to balance yourself when walking in high heels and for that, you need to get the right posture when walking in high heels. More and more practise will do, you don't need a class or anything on this.

Since I've been wearing high heels regularly for quite some time (quite a few years indeed), recently, I experienced pain in lower half of my lower limb including both knees and also back pain. The knees felt like they can no longer bear the pressure and hurt a lot especially when ascending or descending the stairs. And the back pain was mainly on the lumbar region (go google where lumbar is) and I had a hard time dealing with it. And guess what, it started during my Euro trip! Potong kan, tapi I kentalkan je.

It's not that I'm not aware of the side effects of wearing high heels but I neglected the whole fact about how harmful high heels are to our body because I've become too attached with high heels. Ceh ayat tak boleh poyo lagi kan. Yeah, truth is, I even went shopping with my high heels. And my shopping isn't just 1 or 2 hours. My kind of shopping-day-out can be from sun to sun, really, and I'll still stand tough in my high heels. That bad!

There were time when I felt so much comfortable in my high heels rather than taking them off my feet. Yes, apparently, walking barefoot on a flat ground used to hurt my feet. And just because I've been a regular user of high heels, I came to think that I look hideous when wearing flats or sneakers. No, I didn't just think, coz when I looked into the mirror, I really do look weird with flats or sneakers. Now, you can see how this love-for-high-heels-thingy affects me psychologically.

tapi high heels ni buruk
True that most women won't mind standing in the most uncomfortable high heels for cosmetic sake. I do too. Not to say that you can't wear your high heels at all, but take me as an example of a high heels victim. You don't wanna hurt your knees and your back like I did kan? I'm lucky that the pain gets relieved after a few weeks of 'no high heels' geez, to be honest, I kinda freaked out at first. Takut lah kan. Right after I get the pain, terus google about side effects of wearing high heels and there were lotsssss of them!! You can even end up having surgery for your knee pain and back pain!

So now, I gotta start wearing flats more often though honestly, I don't like flats at all hmm but I've to cuz I dun wanna injure my feet some more. And the thing with my feet is, I've a wide feet and "wide feet + flats" makes a hideous combination cuz tiba2 nanti nampak kaki terlebih lebar and hodoh lah camane nak explain eh? Kalau rajin nanti boleh suruh I demonstrate wahahah but anyway, hodoh tak hodoh, sekarang I learnt it the hard way so conclusion is, pakai high heels sila berpada-pada okay sebab side effects of wearing high heels yang korang baca dekat internet adalah bukan cerita dongeng.

So baiklah, I will limit myself from wearing high heels too much after this. But after a few weeks of feet resting, I think I am now ready to rock with my high heels wahahaha. Eh eh tak sedar diri, okay sila berpijak di bumi yang nyata. LESS HIGH HEELS, MORE FLATS iskk -_-" But I would be really grateful if anyone of you wants to treat me this heartthrob ;

Time dekat London hari tu, meleleh je tengok kasut macam ni haisshh! Time tu duit nyawa-nyawa ikan. Ketaq tangan tengok harga grrr.

Mari Mengenal Manusia Opportunist

Being opportunist itu normal. Being opportunist itu menunjukkan kau bijak mengambil peluang and kesempatan yang ada. Kalau nak hidup, being opportunist adalah perlu sekali sekala. Tapiii, kalau kau jenis manusia yang over gila opportunist, itu dah memang tak normal okay, itu namanya melampau!

Opportunist ni ada banyak jenis. Lain opportunist lain motif. Ada opportunist ambik kesempatan untuk senangkan kerja diorang, so that diorang leh lepak dok goyang kaki tengok dinding tau2 je kerja dah siap. Ada satu lagi jenis opportunist adalah manusia yang seboleh2 tak nak gune duit dia, tapi seboleh2 cari cara and sebab untuk menyentil bile orang lain dah keluar duit diorang.

Sebenarnya banyak je lagi jenis opportunist dalam dunia ni. Depends on your circle of friends jugak, kalau friends dekat tempat kerja, maybe the pattern of opportunism is different, likewise, when you are with your uni friends, the pattern of opportunism is different jugak la. But whatever it is, opportunists are everywhere.

I myself is an opportunist sometimes, I can see most of my friends are being opportunist jugak. But it's okay to be an ooportunist if you know how to give and take. Kiranya, hari ni aku keluar duit, esok2 kawan aku tu paham2 la plak nak keluar duit dia plak. Ataupun hari ni member aku buat kerja lebih, aku lepak tengok tv, esok aku pepandai la buat kerja plak so that member aku bole relax sket. If that's what happening, then it is a healthy kind of opportunism. No sweat at all.

Tapi, ada jenis manusia, dia nak dia je senang! Dia nak dia je jimat! Sorry ah babe, kalau aku jumpe orang jenis mcm ni and if kau ada hati nak take advantage on me and only me, I won't make your life easy that's for sure. Kalau aku tak dpt nak get rid of you, I'll let you know how opportunistic you are and that you gotta stop right away before you lose your friends!

Senang je nak kenal orang macam ni. Typical gila kot. Contohnya, if pergi makan sama. Time tu jugak la kau tak cukup duit la, takde duit kecik la, purse tertinggal la, lepas tu pinjam duit atau pujuk member belanja. Sekali sekala layan la kan. Pinjam duit isn't a big deal kot. Belanja member sekali sekala pun ape la sangat kan, lagi2 kalau kau tu kaya memang duit dalam purse sangat meriah. Kita pun takkan nak berkira sangat kan. Tolong weh, aku pantang orang berkira, unless kau memang miskin hina (mcm aku sekarang!hahahah) Lepas tu, dahla buat2 lupa nak bayar balik, the next time makan sama pun kau takde duit jugak. Kalau dah banyak kali makan minum kau pun aku nak tanggung, melampau ah kan? Abis duit kau tu nak bagi makan sape? Toyol?

Lagi manusia jenis opportunist, manusia yang kau terpaksa angkut ke hulu ke hilir sebab dia takde transport. Ini lagi satu opportunist paling common ah. Sangat faham kot depression takde kereta. Yelah, kau still belajar, celah mana nak cari duit beli kereta. Kalau ada pun kereta parents, itu pun terpaksa berebut, kalau nak guna kena booking awal2. Faham weh. Aku pun macam tu.

Member kau ada kereta boleh pick u up at your house pun dah cukup bagus. Memang lah dia tak mintak bayar, tapi kau pun ada otak, guna ah. Busuk2 pun, bayarkan la tol ke, parking ke, takkan berkira sangat kot? Atau kalau rumah kau tu beribu batu jauh, atau kau memang penumpang regular, pepandai ah nak top up minyak. Ini tak, time lalu tol kau buat2 tidur, time nak bayar parking kau buat2 busy cakap phone, time nak isi minyak kau sebok kata nak pergi toilet. Apa kes? Lepas tu, mintak tolong hantar kau balik rumah kat dekat Beranang. Kalau kau hensem macam Nate Archibald pun belum tentu aku sanggup nak hantar kau balik rumah for free! Heh.

Worst kind of opportunist aku pernah jumpa ada la dis one minah, she has a car. Her own car. Memang available for her 24/7. Tapi kalau lepak sama, pergi movie ke, pergi mamak ke, pergi open house je, dia mesti nak tumpang orang, tak pernah nak pakai kereta dia. Bile tanye kenape, jawapan ; "malas nak drive!" atau "tkde minyak!" ohh! Abis orang lain rajin sangat lah nak tumpangkan kau everytime? Abis kereta orang lain tu kau ingat tak pakai minyak ke? Pakai air longkang eh? Gila opportunist sial! Kau sorang je la nak save duit minyak, lepas tu kau sorang je la yang dibenarkan malas?

Oh oh, and I remember the typical opportunist dekat sekolah. Nak jimat duit punya pasal. Everytime rehat dekat kantin, kau tak beli pape dulu. Kau tunggu member kau beli karipap atau nasik lemak dulu. Bila aku habis makan, baru kau habis makan sama. Lepas tu kau kenyang keriangan siap boleh cakap ;

"baru ingat nak beli mee bandung tadi, tapi tak jadi lah sebab dah kenyang!"

EVERYDAY okay?

Amalaynicans

I assume most of you reading my blog are malays. But, tell me, in which category of malays do you fall in?

a) the patriotic malays
b) the so-so malays
c) a'malay'nicans

First things first, credit goes to Obefiend for creating such a brilliant word the ancient people couldn't think of. That's just impressive.

I guess the categories of malays I've stated are self-explanatory. The patriotic malays are those malays who are proud to be one and will do anything to protect our social rights, culture, ones who are willing to preserve the old malay heritage and whatnots. Ah, you get what I mean, do I need to explain more?

I believe most of us fall in the second category. The so-so malays. We're proud to be malays but we hardly done anything for the benefit of malay community. Yes, I think I fall in this group, the kind of person who is proud to be a malay, but doesn't do anything that shows.

And hello hello, the number of a'malay'nicans are rapidly growing in our own beloved country. A'malay'nicans are those people who are purely of malay origin (a hint of Javanese/Bugis/Siamese/etc are common though) but they are literally ashamed to be a malay. Yes, the term A'malay'nican speaks for itself. It's the term used for those people who are so fond of the western, especially the Americans. Like you know, Americans this, Americans that, and boo boo, shame on you the Malays coz u're way behind the technology.

Oh tell you what, you deserve the boo boo so much more that the rest of the malay community. You're not welcomed in the western community, the only one being overly perasan is you. Not only that you have a prominent malay features on your face and body; you're tanned, your nose if dead flat, you have overly slanted eyes, your hair is black, you definitely score the minimum (or worse, below minimum) height in their standard height profile, and you can't even stand winter in their country, in fact, you still can't get rid of your oh-so-malay habits (bad habits included) like you know, the malays who constantly crave for nasi and only nasi everyday plus sambal paling pedas, the malays who are never punctual, the malays who will speak in thick regional dialect (like orang nogori, kelantan, sarawak etc) and still, you're too ashamed to admit you're one of the malays.

These a'malay'nicans will never want to buy stuffs from the local brands. According to them, ini barangan takde kualiti, we'd rather buy those from the western countries. Biar bayar lebih, janji berkualiti. Yes I admit some local brands are not of high quality, but it's unfair to make such judgement and such general statement. You never know how hard it is for the local businessmen to reach the top. And still you're so much influenced with the western brands to the extend of belittling the local brands from usahawan melayu sendiri. I would say, you're being plain stupid and shallow minded. Padahal every weekend kau pergi Giant jugak shopping barang rumah. Giant was born in Malaysia beb, tak malu ke pakai barang Giant?

It's a lie to say that I only buy stuffs from the local company, only those born in Malaysia, or to be specific, those products which are released by the malay entrepreneurs. I do, every now and then, buy imported stuffs. But being a mature human being, I have respects for the malay entrepreneurs who are struggling to compete, or worse, to even find a tiny place in the market, to show the world that we too can produce our own products. So, why bother comparing? And why some malays are being really mean to make such a statement saying that the local products/brands are of no quality etc etc. As if engkau bagus sangat, it's always better to work on something small, rather than talk big and produce nothing, just like most a'malay'nicans. Shame on you.

And what's so wrong and 'kampung' about listening to the local radio station? Yes, apparently, listening to malay songs will make you a 'kampung' girl/boy and if ever the a'malay'nicans know the fact that their close friends listen to these songs, they'll set a distance. Amalaynicans never wanna be friends with 'kampung' girls/boys, get it? They will only listen to English songs and would rather listen to silence than playing the malay songs. They'll go on bullshitting about the malay singers being off-standard, about how crappy the lyrics are, and how low the video-clips are.

And when you go for a karaoke day out with these a'malay'nicans, don't bother picking up malay/indon songs, they'll stare at you in horror. Seriously. Like you know, when they overheard the ppl from the next room sing a 'rock kapak' song, they'll go on "omg, don't they have a better song to sing? Don't tell me you nak nyanyi lagu melayu dekat siniiii, please no!" and stare at you for an assurance that you're one of the a'malay'nicans and not one of the patriotic malays who will sing malay songs when karaoke-ing.

Here's the thing, I do sing malay/indon songs when karaoke-ing and if that makes me 'kampung' then be it. And X-fresh FM is one of my favourite radio stations (because Era FM has too much advertisements for god's sake), oh yes, I do listen to malay songs when driving, how's that sound to you? I am definitely not qualified to be called a'malay'nicans, do I?

Funny thing is, they still listen to Too Phat, Disagree, Bunkface, Resh Monu or worse, they'll still listen to Siti Nurhaliza singing an english song (ade ke? aku bantai) Not so American eh?

These A'malay'nicans will go on laughing and rolling on the floor when reading the malay poetry or listening to a malay poet, reciting a malay poem with full enthusiasm. To them, they're making fun of themselves on stage. To them, the beauty of the malay poems are almost non-existence. The wordings are craps and cranky and the only purpose of malay poems is for them to die out of excessive laughing.

You know, they'll go on laughing listening to this line "Wajahmu indah bak bulan dan bintang"(okay, of course, I made this one up) and the only way to shut 'em up is by directly translating this verse into English and I bet you my heart, they'll adore the wordings. I know somehow, malay poems sound a bit corny and funny, but still, you're malay and you speak malay so could you at least respect that a bit? If you're so in love with English literature and detest Malay literature, you could just keep that to yourself, it's a courtesy for the malay poets and malay community. There's really no need to make an announcement of how crappy and sappy Malay literature are.

There are a lot more examples I wish I could share but this post is already too lengthy. To all the Amalaynicans, I hope this is a wake up call for you people. Being amalaynicans simply means you have no pride over yourself anymore because you're too busy worshiping everything Americans and everything western till you forget your root and your own culture. It's okay to adore/follow the western here and there but it is definitely not okay to ditch completely the eastern part of yourselves, and worse, it's definitely not okay to belittle or downgrade everything that is malay because that makes you 'orang yang lupa diri'.

Remember this line "TAKKAN MELAYU HILANG DI DUNIA" ? Well, if more and more people are becoming Amalaynicans, eventually, there will be no more malays in this world.

p/s : those mat salleh/minah salleh yang u adore sangat tu, will secretly laugh at you and think u're stupid for downgrading your own asal usul. shame on you.

2 heads are better than 1, REALLY WEH?!

Do you have any idea why the students usually work in a group? Study group ke, buat PBL in a group ke or simply prepare a presentation in a group keee. Apa eh purpose buat kerja sama2 in a group kalau buat untuk menyenangkan one another? Kalau bukan untuk help each other and make the best out of it?

Kau pikir the lecturer kasi kau buat kerja in a group supaya kau boleh gossip and gelak2 sampai lebam or so that kau jadi pelajar lembab sebab asik rely dekat group mates yang lain je ke? Weh aku sokong bab gossip and gelak2 sebab pada aku, kalau kau blaja stress2 tkde selingan gossip dan gelak setan itu memang sangat membosankan. Boleh tersengguk-sengguk wa cakap sama lu. Tapi boleh tak beragak, kau nak gossip kau gossip la, nak gelak setan kau gelak lah, tapi boleh tak kerja tetap jalan? Boleh tak come prepared and bukan rely on your group mates semata?

It's never a good thing to have a big group when working on something. Sebab tendency untuk sorang dua student untuk bajet VIP tak nak buat kerja or datang with very little preparation adalah sangat tinggi. Kalau group aku 10 orang pun aku ada tendency untuk bermalas nak prepare sungguh2 lagi2 if the topic assigned mmg ciput stok 2-3 orang buat pun dah cukup. Tapiiii, katakan group kau tu group yang kecik, 4 orang ke, 3 orang ke, or worse, 2 orang keeee, boleh tak kau develop sikit sense of tanggungjawab?!

Aku tau I don't look like I care. Tapi percayalah, if I work in a small group, and I am assigned untuk prepare some notes or read a certain topic beforehand, I swear I'll do it! Tak percaya boleh tanya my study group mates, pernah ke aku datang study group tak siapkan notes untuk topic hari tu? Siap buat kemas-kemas kot! Pernah ke aku baca bodoh2 lepas tu present the topic assigned macam sampah? Tanya my IRP mates, aku siap cari soalan untuk the study group kot! It doesn't sound like me at all, tapi itu hanya untuk orang2 yang tak kenal aku betul2. Kalau aku rasa aku responsible untuk orang lain jugak and if kelalaian or kemalasan aku tu boleh menyakitkan hati, or membuang masa, or menjejaskan prestasi pembelajaran or presentation orang lain, memang bangang gila lah kalau aku suka hati nak lepas tangan kan? Memang aku layak kena maki la kan.

The idea of having to work in a group, or a pair is for us to help each other. Interview aku sebijik-sebijik apa nak buat? Atau supervise kerja aku? Hamboi sejak bila kau naik pangkat jadi tutor aku? Rasanya kau tak dihantar untuk jadi group mate aku supaya aku buat semua kerja and supaya aku bagitau kau semua benda yang patut dibuat apalagi untuk kau just tengok ape kejadah yang aku buat. We have to do it together! Banyak cun muka kau kalau semua benda pun orang lain nak settlekan, semua benda pun orang lain nak bagitau.

And boleh tak faham kalau orang tengah serious nak buat kerja kasi siap cepat and obviously masa pun dah suntuk, boleh tak jangan buang masa goyang bontot korek hidung lepas tu bila aku kata we need to do it fast kau boleh kata "chillexlah kak, masa banyak lagi" eh eh, kepala hangguk lu! Engkau punya chillex tu kalau tak menyusahkan aku, aku tak kesah dowh, kau nak chillex korek hidung ke korek bontot ke apa ke suka hati lantak kau lah! Tapi kau punya chillex tu, kalau menyusahkan aku, bagi aku 10 sebab kenapa aku tak patut naik angin. Panas ni beb, panas! Make up gua boleh cair sebab panas hati lu buat perangai macam bagus. Kalau chillex chillex tapi kerja siap kerja mantap aku tak kesah weh. Aku pun tak suka gelabah-gelabah buat kerja. Tapi kalau kau dok kata chillex lepas tu bila kerja tak siap orang lain yang nak kena jawab sebab kau hilang pergi men-chillex-kan diri dengan selambanya, apa barang ni bang?

Aku memang malas, I admit that. Tapi aku tau malu and aku tau aku dah menyusahkan orang kalau aku tak prepare apa yang patut lepas tu kerja nak tanya orang je. Semalas-malas aku, aku ada effort nak bukak buku cari mana yg aku miss, apa yang patut buat, apa yang patut tulis etc etc. Aku boleh terima la kalau kau tak prepare sebab malam tadi kau berak keluar darah, makan pun tak lalu. Takde hal beb kalau kau sakit ke apa. Tapi dah kalau everytime pun kau tak prepare, lepas tu orang lain yang nak kena struggle disebabkan kemalasan kau tu, tak beragak la ni!

Lepas tu, aku pantang orang buat kerja tak systematic. Otak aku ngan otak lu memang tak sama bro, sebab tu kita kalau nak kerja kasi smooth, ikut la order! Tapi papehal, kau sila tanggung sendiri!

Aku pun bukan bagus sangat. Tapi kau pun tak bagus mana. Tapi masing-masing ada otak, masing-masing nak belajar. Kalau benda kena buat sendiri aku takde hal la kau nak bantai malas kau tu sebab itu memang takde effect dekat aku dengan orang lain. Tapi if you're working in a group and especially with me, boleh tak respect sikit effort and masa yang aku and orang lain spend for the sake of that group? Kalau aku yang malas ni boleh selak-selak and baca sikit2 apa yang patut, prepare sikit-sikit apa yang perlu, kenapa kau boleh selamba tahi datang without anything, not even a single thing in ur head?! Habis otak lu yang bijak pandai tu nak buat apa dowh?

Kalau bekerja dengan orang, buat cara bekerja dengan orang. Biar lah my presence as your group mate tu membantu pembelajaran kau, and kau jugak membantu pembelajaran aku. Kalau ada group mate sikit pun tak menolong, baik tak payah ada group mate. Ini bukan mentor-mentee bukan tutor-tutee. So lu pikir ah sendiri sebab gua dah betul panas hati.

Sekufu

Apa barang cerita pasal sekufu ni? Aku biar betol kot.

Sekufu means 'sama'. So did I sound like ustazah? Rilek dulu.

Before this aku selalu rasa, apa lah penting sangat sekufu ni. Janji sayang, janji cinta, jalan je lah. Nak sekufu sangat apehal. Apa ada hal kalau educational background tak sama? Apa ada hal kalau sorang pangkat tinggi, sorang lagi pangkat rendah? Apa ada hal kalau sorang kaya, sorang miskin? Ada hal ke weh? Cinta tu kan buta. Kalau dah buta, sekufu is not a question anymore.

Okay that's how modern people menilai tahap ke'sekufu'an. Padahal banyak je benda lain kena consider. Sekufu here includes pengetahuan ilmu agama, 2-2 pandai mengaji ke tak, 2-2 solat cukup ke tak, bangsa yang sama, agama yang sama so on and so forth.

Before this, I believe I can handle ketidaksekufuan. To me, janji you don't belittle your partner and ungkit about it every now and then, everything will be fine. Tapi cakap atau berangan memang senang. You need to be in the real situation to feel it for yourself.

I have a friend, a girl, genius nak mati gila2 genius tahap extreme. Cantik, baik pun baik. But she felt miserable inside coz according to her, no guys dare to date her because of that. So dari situ dah nampak kepentingan sekufu in a relationship. Takde lah kata she has to marry another Albert Einstein, but obviously she has to find someone yang pandai, at least someone who won't appear dumb in front of her.

And then there's a friend of my dad, his office boy. This office boy gila lucky to marry an anaesthetist who make thousands in a day (okay exaggerate kot) but you get the difference kan. They were happy for some time and one day this guy consulted my dad (yes my dad ni terlebih ramah all his anak2 buah dah buat dia macam their own dad dah), he said he couldn't blend in with his wife's colleagues and that he feels terribly awkward when they're having dinner together coz he's not fluent in english and blablabla. Another proof that sekufu is important in a marriage.

As for me, yes I now realize that cinta tidak sepatutnya buta. Love is not just about love. It's obviously more that just love. Let's not talk about puppy love. Zaman sekolah, budak perempuan kelas first everytime exam dapat no 1 pun boleh couple dengan mat rempit kelas last yang dah sah2 belajar lingkup. Takpe lah, kasi can merasa kan. Everyone has to experience bitter things in life to learn. Kan?

But it's unfair to measure ke'sekufu'an solely on educational background and power. It's true. Aku dibesarkan with this radical belief that hanya orang yang pandai kuat belajar baca buku 10 jam sehari je yang akan berjaya. The rest yang duduk kelas last malas belajar dapat no corot memang confirm jadi sampah masyarakat. That's not what my parents taught me, but it was just something I believed in. And I was really wrong. Really really wrong.

Some people, they don't need a certificate to be a successful person. Especially for those who are granted with talent - tailor, musician, writer etc etc. So walaupun educational background diorang takat SPM je, they still have something you don't have. So I don't think you can declare yourselves tidak sekufu because he's an SPM holder and you're a Degree holder.

I don't wanna go against the current. Men will lead the women and nothing can change that. When I have my own family one day, I don't wanna be the one to lead the family because that's what my husband will be doing and what me and my kids (LOL) will be following. And believe me when I say, I'd prefer, and I'd love it if the husband is superior than me, tak kesah lah in education ke gaji ke pangkat ke ilmu agama ke MEMASAK keee hahahaha. Because I don't compete with someone I love so be it. Plus, honestly, I think a guy who's smarter, has better income, terer agama, pandai socialize (not party animal pls), outspoken and yg sewaktu dengannya adalah sangat HOT.

Kalau nak orang kata kau dengan pasangan kau tu bagai pinang dibelah dua atau duduk sama rendah berdiri sama tinggi, silalah cari yang sekufu eh. Btw, if you think you are way behind your partner, you can always catch up, if betul sayang lah. Sekufu tu bukan benda yang fixed pun, it just need some effort je, especially for guys. Perempuan takde masalah sangat kot kalau kerja housekeeping lepas tu ada CEO nak masuk meminang. Itu namanyaaaa durian runtuh! Eh eh hebat pulak aku berperibahasa.

Okay sila check sekarang, adakah anda dan pasangan anda sekufu? Kalau ye, boleh pergi kursus kahwin sekarang. Bye!

geli okay nak geli-geli dengan kawan.

some people fall in love with friends. u know, you've been friends/best friends for years and suddenly you realize that your so called friend is made for you and that both of you make a good couple yada yada and taraaaa, you're now dating your friend!

i fall in love with stranger. yes, stranger. i've never fallen in love with a friend. never before, never will KOT. KOT la kan, jodoh pertemuan tetap di tangan Tuhan. karang saye yakin boleh kata takkan in love with friend, kang ter-in love kang, korang jadikan bahan pulak.

but anyway, i already have a steady boyfriend lah. he was not a friend. though we went to the same college, we never talked to each other, not a single word. padahal class selalu combined, we once work on the same drama "degup jantungnya" but stillll, kenapa tah tak pernah cakap?! he's the only guy i never talk to in kms. if he was a friend (a friend here means a good friend la whom you can gossip and laugh with) agaknya tak couple kot.

because here's what i feel, adalah sangat geli untuk geli-geli dengan kawan. that's purely what i feel, and i'm not saying i'm right and you're wrong. coz whoever you're dating, you know better. tak kesahlah orang tu ex-best friend ke, ex-enemy ke apa, u still know better. so don't accuse me for being irrelevant ke apa, suka hati aku ok?

so back to the real thing, tak kesah lah mamat tu tampan ke kacak ke pemurah ke baik hati ke, if he's a good friend and suddenly he's being all flirty to me, dengan segala automaticnya, saye geli. geli yang 'euuwwww stop it already!'

to me, if he's a friend, he's forever a friend. saya adalah orang yg senang berkawan. and bile saye dah selesa berkawan with someone, saye takkan selesa bergatal-gatal ala2 scandal dengan kawan. apa lagi nak bergatal ala2 girlfriend. dah kawan tu kawan saje kotttt?

some people say, it's a bless to have your best friend as your boyfriend/girlfriend. but not to me. saya tamak. i want a different best friend and a different boyfriend altogether. say if i lose my boyfriend, i still have my best friend (and vice versa). but if my best friend/friend turns out to be my boyfriend, if i happen to lose him, i'll lose both best friend and boyfriend at the same time. tak ke devastating?

lagipun if you're used to be friend with him, suddenly dia naik pangkat jadi boyfriend, tak susah ke nak tukar all the things yg u guys dah biasa buat? like for example, u guys dah biasa cakap aku-kau, cakap lepas, lepak makan ice-cream ramai2 tepi longkang, and cerite about how hot is his friend compared to him. tak ke susah?

if dia dah jadi boyfriend, nak cakap aku-kau is kinda inappropriate, cakap lepas pun tak syiok la kalau all the time kau nak bantai cakap lepas, itu sungguh tak menyelerakan as a boyfriend. and takkan still nak lepak ramai2? tapi if tak lepak ramai2, nnti rase pelik. and you can't go on telling him how hot his friend is! though most of the time, you will continue acting 'like i care kite kan dah biasa mcm tu dulu' so ask urself, whats the difference of him being ur boyfriend or ur best friend?

shit i've gone too far. actually that's not the main point lah. coz once u've decided that ur best friend is the one for you, you guys need to work things out la kan camane pun. who am i to say anything pun kan. the main point is, tolong jangan nak geli-geli dengan saya when i am comfortable to have you as a friend. SAYA TAK SUKA SEBAB SAYA GELI. full stop.

daily school vs boarding school.

i memang suka nak buat conflict kan! eh yelah, i sedar diri especially lepas anonymous sorang ni sound i kate i suka nak buat conflict tak pasal2. ahaha, boleh panggil i pencetus conflict la kalau camtu wahahaha.

ok lari topic, padahal nak ckp psl daily school vs boarding school. before that let me make everyone clear that i come from both background, i was in daily coed school from form 1 till form 3 and then went to single sex boarding school in form 4 till i finished secondary school. so i consider myself as someone who is pretty much aware of the pros and cons of both schools.

i wanna raise an issue, "budak sbp/mrsm ade mentality kampung and kasar". that was a statement made by some daily school students after mingling with those people from boarding school in their unis. and to my surprise, there is such thing as 'diorang budak asrama so i tak campur, tak boleh masuk blablabla' and 'i tak mingle ok dengan budak daily school' even after entering unis. really weh? why soo laa? adakah korang sgt tak boleh masuk dengan each other? adakah budak daily school terlalu urban and budak asrama terlalu kampung? wahahahha.

honestly, i had the same perception about boarding school students when i first entered boarding school. well i dunno the exact definition or what does they really meant by 'mentality kampung' but i'm guessing it's their taste la, contohnya macam taste in music, taste in clothing, the way they speak, their lifestyle, the places they hang out etc tc. and apparently, to them, being kasar is also perangai kampung.

is there really any difference? okay honestly, i was not used of using aku-engkau back in lower form. i was more comfortable using kite-awak and i-u and my way of speaking pun was a bit decent. and when i entered boarding school, everyone started using aku-kau and some of them memang a bit kasar la but well, i didn't think it was a big problem so i adapted to that slowly. but hey, it's not that we cannot speak nicely and politely. so mcm, whats the big deal kan? i can switch myself from using i-u or kita-awak or whatever and talk really politely, gedikly and ayu to using aku-kau and talk a bit, err, well, selambe? but well, comparing my daily school and my boarding school, that was quite a major difference and i really do switch my way of speaking when i hang out with my lower form friends and my upper form friends. i dunno about other daily school though.

mentality kampung? well well. look whos talking. i guess people yg soooo urban mmg takkan boleh masuk dengan those people from outside KL/selangor kot? yes there are such people yg perasan urban habis just because they live in tempat konon best. the moment they know u're not from these 2 areas, u're out of the circle. seriously, kenapa tak nak belajar kenal orang?

oh yes, u can't expect all the students in boarding school come from KL and selangor (though mine had a majority of the students from these places) so u can't expect students semua ada mentality KL atau mentality klang valley (whatever thats supposed to mean) of course la these people from perlis ada their own way of thinking, and those from kelantan and terengganu ada this kind of mentality and those from sabah sarawak pulak mcm ni. mingle, kenal, and absorb apa yang baik ignore apa yg tak baik, tak boleh ke dol? (kan dah keluar bahasa kasar asrama aku)

i'm proud to say that i have friends from all over malaysia, dari perlis smpai ke sabah sarawak, semua pun i baik. memang la some ada mentality diorang yg mmg tak kena dengan i, byk ah jugak kekadang, pasal baju, pergaulan, the way you celebrate something, music, etc etc, tapi kau sengih kambing sudeyh bila diorang express opinion diorang yg tak berapa nak kena dengan kau tu. u can't say they're wrong and u're right, because to them, u're wrong and they're right. so, susah nak terima? respect each other sudeyh!

contoh ; it's your birthday and u're planning to celebrate it at an expensive restaurant, nak buat 7 hari 7 malam, tapi dijamin free from alcohol dan babi-babian, sekali ada minah dari ____ kata 'babe, buat ape awak abis duit celebrate mahal2 padahal celebrate bday jer which means awak setahun lagi dekat dgn kematian, kan lebih elok buat doa selamat, kan babe?'

ha, kau nak sentap? nak kata minah tu conservative, kampung, tak fun segala? lepas dia ckp camtu terus kau canang satu uni kata minah tu blardy kampung dasar budak asrama i dun wanna be friend with u. like dat one ka? lepas tu terus keluar general statement "budak asrama ni mentality kampung" pergh. tak pasal2 aku terpaksa terasa dan tersentap, sebab aku pon separuh asrama gak, wahahahha. ok tak, buat ape aku nak sentap, tak sesensitive itu utk sentap.

just, i was driven to write about this sebab mcm tak patut kot ckp orang tu mentality kampung lagi2 ckp budak asrama ni mentality kampung. apa mentality kau terlalu bandar ke? apa mentality yg terlampau bandar tu baik2 belaka ke? apakah kau rasa duduk kl, subang, hartamas, klang, damansara, pulau penang, johor bahru dan sekolah dekat sekolah harian tu terlalu lavish dan urban dan mentality korang sgt upper east side sampai suka suki buat statement orang lain yg duduk asrama adalah sgt kampung dan conservative? ni mmg conflict besar nih wahahaha, nantikan sambungannya dalam entry seterusnya. (ayat nak berunsur mempromote kan!)

terpakse sambung nanti la, i ngantuk, esok nak kene bangun pagi beli pasar tuk barang2 dapur rumah. pergh, ckp mcm laki orang kena paksa ngan bini pegi pasar (err my dad la tu hahaha) ok, esok la sambung! daaa.

Mokusatsu

Mokusatsu adalah sepatah bahasa Jepun yg bermaksud "to ignore" or "killing with silence". I came across this particular word in my TOK(Theory of Knowledge) class about 4-5 years back. Kau jangan tak tau TOK tu subjek kegemaran aku sebab aku suka cakap2 and bagi idea2 (who cares if ur ideas are craps) dan theory ciptaan sendiri and the best part of TOK is no matter how crappy your ideas are, they are all acceptable and worth discussing! Heeee.

Allow me to define Mokusatsu according to my understanding. The closest malay word that explains mokusatsu is "merajuk lama2 sampai kau rasa bersalah". Okay that's not a word, that's one whole line. Because merajuk alone doesn't give the same meaning as Mokusatsu.

For some people, it's better to remain silent than arguing, especially with someone yang suka ikut kepala dia lepas tu tanak dengar pendapat orang. Maka orang yg lagi satu maybe akan ckp sepatah dua ayat makan dalam and senyap smpai the other person rasa guilty and say sorry for not hearing what u have to say. Just an example. Tak semestinya argument, sometimes kalau kau kena bantai dengan bapak kau lepas tu kau merajuk senyap diam tak kuar bilik tunggu tengah malam baru pegi dapur senyap2, I consider that one as mokusatsu. Biar bapak aku rasa bersalah sebab anak dia kelaparan tak makan nnt sakit2 masuk hospital sume sebab dia bantai aku siang tadi. Hahaha.

Aku rasa i can never practise mokusatsu. Silent treatment wak lu la. Silent torture ade la. I can never stand silence and I can never stand a situation when myself is not heard. I know, the aim of mokusatsu is so that the other person feels guilty and comes back to you to let you speak up for urself, but call me impatient, I really can't wait for that to happen. I wanna be heard right away.

Apart from myself being irritatingly impatient, people will never get it that I am sulking. And that makes me wait even more longer for them to come back at me and say sorry blablabla so might as well fight for it argue bertumbuk tarik rambut segala at least both parties hear each other, done with it, and we're friends again. Rather than kau merajuk 10 hari, nak pujuk 20 hari, bincang2 lagi 10 hari, bila nak settle bang oi? Mokusatsu is so not for me. But it does work perfectly with some other people.

Except for my parents. Of course la, takkan aku nak mengamuk kat parents aku. Kalau nak kena sepak terajang zionis mak aku try la. haha. Mak aku adalah pelakon handalan terbaik kategori veteran sebab all my friends akan cakap aku penipu gila when I say mak aku adalah mak tergarang dalam alam semesta because my mum is super lembut wa cakap sama lu bila dia layan kawan2 aku. Hah, lepas tu aku la kan yang kena tuduh penipu.

Disebabkan perangai aku sedikit setan di masa muda remaja, aku agak dah rasa la keganasan zionis mak aku. Aku malas nak cerita byk pasal keganasan mak aku sebab nanti korang tanak kawan dengan mak aku pulak kan. Tapi paling aku takleh blah sampai sekarang was when aku selambe dek keluar jugak when she already said no(and that was zaman upper form). Ape ada hal time tu kan. Sebab time tu agak tak boleh salahkan aku la, I told her a week earlier aku nak kuar that day, memula green light, but tetibe on that day itself mak aku kata kau jangan keluar dan itu adalah muktamad and jangan harap nak dapat talian hayat eventhough kau menangis bagai nak rak.

Ahhh, nak kuar jugak! Tapi cakap dalam hati la kan, lepas tu terus bantai keluar jugak. Balik je rumah (time tu maghrib), aku tak sempat pun jejak kaki dalam gate, tetiba ada bijik jagung melayang dari pintu rumah, tapi aku elak sepantas kilat ah. Mak aku rupenye, damnnn! Sharp shooter baling bijik jagung wehhh, tau ah baru lepas makan jagung rebus. Lepas tu dia bantai mengamuk dari pintu rumah I was sure jiran tetangga dengar wahahahha I kept silent je ahh nak buat camane lagi, takkan nak main baling2 bijik jagung lak kan. Lepas puas dia mengamuk dia cakap kau duduk luar jgn masuk rumah and slammed the door. Ha kau, sadis tak sadis la kan. Nak masuk ikut tingkap mmg tak muat ah, so aku layan je la duduk luar rumah sampai malam. Nasib baik bapakku selamba rock, he was the one yg let me in tapi gelakkan aku sebab kena marah. Wahaha. Cis.

Lepas tu ingat nak mokusatsu. Memang mokusatsu pun. I locked myself in my room, tak turun makan at all (ok tipu, I did, when everyone fell asleep, tak pun mintak tlg adik amekkan nasik letak ayam 2 ketul kuah banyak sikit letak kicap jugak bawak naik atas) it went on for a few days. Tapi sadly mak aku tak rasa tindakan aku utk merajuk tu adalah comel atau menyayat hati, so dia buat selambe dek dia. Aku dah agak, so finally I gave up. Tau2 dah baik sendiri.

Same goes to my dad. Walaupun tak zionis, but jiwa selamba rock dia membuatkan dia mcm "ohhh abah tatau lak kau merajuk" so dia pun akan buat selamba dek kalau aku bermokusatsu. Dahla my parents are the only people I can't mengamuk with, thus making them as the only people I can practise mokusatsu with, tapi my mokusatsu will remain mokusatsu for years without them pujuk-ing me back 'alalalala anak mama merajuk ke meh sini meh mama pujuk'. Memang tak ahhh wehh. Even if my mom suddenly does that, maybe aku akan kena shock syndrome sebab macam 'is that even you, mom?'

Mokusatsu dengan boyfriend or friends? Memang tak ah, lagi2 friends. Boyfriend okay lagi kot, kadang2 merajuk la, tapi lepas mengamuk, wahahahaha. Tapi dengan friends, merajuk kee? So not me kot. Kalau aku terasa, it's either "cis kau takpe next time aku kenakan kau pulak" atau sound direct sudeyh. Takde keja aku nak lock myself up in my room sebab merajuk dengan kawan. LOL. Agak muntah hijau di situ. I prefer to discuss the argument though it sucks sometimes but it's better off that way dari kau merajuk and the situation keeps hanging. Annoying kot!

But amazingly, guys do prefer mokusatsu. Cam, 'lu pikir la sendiri gua malas nak cakap' tapi bila benda yg aku pikir tu tak sama dengan apa yg kau pikir kau marah pulak tapi lepas tu mokusatsu tanak ckp pape pulak. Igt otak aku adalah photostat kepada otak kau ke boleh pulak nak fikir macam kau. Speak up man.

Mokusatsu can benefit you, but most of the time for me, it worsen the situation. Itu apa yang aku fikir, suka hati aku la kan. Kalau kau rasa mokusatsu tu the best superb fantastic bombastic, go ahead, aku tak kata kau salah, ok anonymous? Haha. Off.

Sumpah time kecik2 I used to be jealous of this blardy kid! Amboi manja gila kau dengan mak kauuu, yang maknye pun satuuu, nak manje2kan anak lepas tu masuk dlm TV, igt aku tak jealous? itu pemikiran aku masa kecik. And pernah cakap macam ni kat my mom ;

Me : Mak, nape mak budak tu dlm TV baik gilaaa...nape mak tak mcm tu pun?? (muka innocent mintak belas kasihan dan perhatian seorang ibu)

Mom : (sambil layan baby baru - adik aku la tu) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (hoi ini gelak tahap melampau okayyy!) itu berlakon je laaa HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA (sempat sambung gelak)

Me : (rasa diperbodohkan sejurus kemudian terus sedih)

esoknya my mom braged about my question to my dad and sambung gelak. Cissss!!!

p/s : tp aku rasa iklan fernleaf lagi satu la, yg ada dian p.ramlee tu. ke aku ngigau?

p/s : zionis pun zionis la, that makes me a person today. (walaupun mokusatsu aku selalu gagal sigh)

haters are confused admirers

especially to dearest anonymous yg sangat sentap and tak puas hati dengan post 'cinta camera' i posted about 2 weeks ago.

we all do have different opinion. mine is not the same as yours and i'm sure of that. ada orang annoyed gila if kau drive slow2 just because u believe in the saying 'biar lambat asal selamat' and orang yg drive slow ni confirm la annoyed dengan kau yang drive laju mcm pelesit lepas tu buat driver kereta kiri kanan kau mengucap sebab takut terlanggar kereta kau, just because kau rasa drive laju adalah cool and stylo. lepas tu masing2 express rasa tak puas hati masing2 dalam blog, weh, mampos diorang la nak tulis apa pun dah itu apa yg diorang rasa, kau apa ade hal dowh?

aku mcm nak bagi lagi contoh tapi aku tak rasa otak lu lembap lempong slow mcm basikal roda tiga kan. my point is, everyone has their own opinion. ada orang otak dia stereotype, ada orang otak dia radical, so who are you to change their stand? lain ah lu ni lalang, bestfriend lu kata tepek taik kat muka boleh jadi cun, lu pun ikut sama. ha. lain la kan. tapi aku tak rasa otak kau lagi bodoh dari otak lembu.

so anyway, back to the real thing. minah, kau kata aku bitch pasal orang, boleh kau bagitau aku celah mane aku tulis or specify sape2? suka hati samad la nak tulis dia benci orang drive slow because he thinks orang yg bawak slow tu mcm pondan, not macho enough and menyesak and melambatkan jalan raya as long as dia tak tulis 'aku benci raju sebab dia drive slow macam pondan dahla pendek muka jambu lepas tu drive slow, so the pondan'. kan? and suka hati raju la nak tulis kat blog dia yang dia benci orang drive laju tak pikir driver lain on the road and boleh lead to accident, selfish, bajet stylo tp tak pk safety etc etc janji dia tak tulis 'aku rasa samad tu takde otak bajet stylo macho la konon bawak kete laju2 tu, aku doakan kau terbabas masuk gaung puas hati aku'. KAN?

the reason i blog is because i love writing and i love to express what i feel in my writing. kalau kau suka baca blog orang, i think u should learn how to see things from different angle cuz every blogger (who blogs for the purpose of expressing what they feel, not those who treat the blog as an online diary) see things differently. i do see things differently, at least different from u. sometimes my view is radical and not acceptable, but what the heck this is my blog and i dont wanna write things that don't come from me. i agree some people love to argue and debate over something because i do too, but babe, gotta do it in the right way. u'll look smarter if u debate about it without calling someone a mental bitch or things like that. but hey, u look stupider than anyone else when u start doing that. lol. that's why u choose to be an anonymous, because u already know u're stupid. haha. sorry babe.

it reminds me of a post about dye rambut tu haram from a friend of mine. nak kata sentap tu tak sgt la because itu stand dia and i know what i'm doing. but as someone yang dye rambut tentulah kau nak say something jugak gak, so i did but in a good way. buat apa nak jadi anonymous? jadi diri sendiri and tulis elok2 sudeyh. lepas tu suka hati dia la nak ckp apa asalkan kau tulis elok2. tak ke? heh. so, ada berani? aku takde hal kot kau nak counter aku balik, tp setakat jadi anonymous, semua orang pun boleh. haha.

if u're not stupid, confirm kau tersentap la ni. couldn't find any other reasons weh. haha. okay anonymous, i'm not letting u making me feel sorry for posting such a post. you can say whatever u want but i am no lalang so i'll just stick to what i feel.

cinta camera.

it's funny to see people snap and upload endless photos of themselves. i know it's your camera and your right to snap and upload whichever photos you want, but really, you can't shut people's mouth, not mine, not even all of the people around you.

do you really have to upload endless photos of you erm, pose during the car washing just to let the whole world know you're so rajin, or that oh-so-comel pose of you sedang menyiang ikan just to let us know that you can really do the cooking and all, or picture of your toilet yang bersinar2 just to show the world that you just did the sental-menyental process in your toilet. do you really have to?

a little bit is fine, i mean, everybody does it, especially now that we all have a facebook account where you can upload all the photos in the world. but when it is too much, when you want ur personal photographer to snap pictures of you every single second, to capture every single action that you do, then i think you are just obsessed with yourself. maybe you should sing 'why i'm so obsessed with me'. haha.

a lot of people own an SLR camera today only to upload the photos in facebook. i think it's a waste. you spend so much to buy the SLR, and you end up posting the pictures only on the internet. you don't even bother to get them printed. i cherish all the memories. and i am that person who will get the photos printed and put them nicely in the album (not facebook or flickr album pls)

if i could turn back time, i wish to capture all the memorable moment of me and my loved ones. especially those times when i was on the stage. memorable weh! at least, i had some fun!

i did quite a lot of performances since sekolah rendah. i just love it. i used to sing during the talent time, hahaha, and i stopped singing in form 4 when i realized my voice has become a bit nasal (okay maybe a lot) after a dikir barat performance. hahaha. i did quite a number of traditional malay dance and sketch. but sadly, i don't have much pictures of me performing all those things. seriously, i wish i have all the pictures so i can show the pics to my cucu2 nanti. inspiration sket. hahaha. ok poyo.

see, dulu sangat tak reti nak bertangkap2 gambar. now, gambar mengarut2. gambar tengah cabut bulu ketiak la, gambar vain toksah cakap la, gambar konon comel tengah buat yoga la, gambar konon cantik tengah siram pokok bunga la, kalau boleh gambar tengah kat jamban pun kau nak snap kan. so the funny la these people. (contoh2 tu adalah rekaan semata, but well, u get what i mean kan)

but anyway, the camera really serve the the purpose la. tak sia2 kau beli camera if kau tangkap gmbar of you every second of your life. hahaha. just, i think it's funny, bukan funny yg menghiburkan macam tengok mr. bean, but funny that aku rasa nak muntah hijau berak cacing sebab macam, eeeee kau ni takde kerja lain ke. ha mcm tu.

just a simple tips, if u think you're pretty and comel sgt, don't la lebih2 upload gambar konon cantik and comel yang sah2 kau suruh orang ambik sebab nak upload kat fb and all, sebab daripada kau betul2 comel and cantik, terus aku rasa kau tak cantik mana rupanya. and it's worse if kau dah mmg tak cantik. lol.

unless la kau mmg do it for the sake of photography and modelling. haha.

ok, sekali sekala takpe kot. kalau selalu, haha, suke hati kau la. teruskan usaha menghiasi page fb anda dengan senyuman dan pose menawan anda. semoga stalkers anda terhibur la. hehe. ok bye.

what would you do?

so what would you do, if your best friends hate your boyfriend? or your boyfriend hates your best friends?

so what would you do, if your boyfriend bitches about your best friends to you? and how would you react if your best friends tell you how much they hate your boyfriend.

you love both party, but they hate each other. what would you do?

it happens in real life. i admit i do hate some of my best friends' boyfriend(s), and i must admit i've been in this situation before. it's not easy really.

you can't choose. you just can't. you need both because boyfriend can't replace best friends, and best friends can't replace boyfriend. they're just different.

and what if it happens to you that your sister or brother hates your boyfriend? and they don't bother to make friends with your boyfriend? or what if your boyfriend's sister or brother hates you? or maybe, your boyfriend hates your siblings? how will you deal with this sucky condition?

you can do everything in this world to impress the other family, but what if everything goes unnoticed? what if your effort goes to waste? are you going to put away that ego? are you not?

depressing right?

here comes the worst ever situation.

so what would you do, if your daddy hates your boyfriend? and mummy hates him too. what would you do if your boyfriend can't seem to get along with them both. what would you do? dare to have a sweet escape with him to a faraway land? dare to marry someone without your parents' blessing? so what would you do?

or what if the boyfriend's parents hate you for no concrete reasons? and you've been putting so much effort to ditch the hatred only to know that they hate you even more than before. what would you do?

it's like a dead end. loving someone who is hated by other important people around you is the most terrible situation ever.

so dear best friends, sisters, brothers, dads, moms, you don't wanna see your lovely daughter/friend/sister lives in depression, don't you? just stop the hating. stop the bitching. stop right now.

drama rama. are you not tired of hating each other?

p/s : none of the above is related to my current situation, so yeah, don't get the wrong idea about me.

the show

I just got back from Manipal. I attended Lagenda along with Malaysian Food Festival, an event held in Manipal, organized by the Malaysian students in Manipal. Finally get to indulge myself with awesome performances and goooood Malaysian dishes!

What I love about Manipal is (obviously not the small town of Manipal lol) the student life. The students are cool enough, sporting enough, enthusiastic enough, to work together and make the event a successful one. The performances include traditional malay dance, indian dance (by malay students hello!), western dance (my personal favourite), mimicry, singing, silat, fashion show dikir barat(from my uni) and many more.

I believe they're just as busy as other medical students (omg tak, they're in fact busier than us in bangalore - yes pls, my bf is always busier than me!), and still they're able to put a whole lot of effort to choreograph and practise the routines etc etc. Costumes pun gempak okay. I'm sorry for being jakun, I mean, I'm just a little (tipu) disappointed with the fact that my uni really lack of this trait. Like, semua orang pun malas malas malas malas malas nak involve malas nanti rugi weekend kena practise malas nanti kena spend duit malas just malas sebab bontot malas nak gerak. Ouh that mentality, i despise!

I know la we're living in this urban (oh really?) area where it takes hardly 20 minutes to reach the cinema, shopping mall, expensive restaurants etc etc u name it but still, is that the only way to enjoy uni life? Whether or not this place is boring, is really up to the students. Bak kata Baz la kan, kau nak uni buat event gempak2, tapi kau contribute sikit pun tanak, tau datang nak tengok nak makan nak complaint lepas tu balik. Wow habis VVIP la tu?

OK any critics from any coward anonymous who doesn't have balls to even tell the world who you are before start critisizing? lol.

p/s : i was told that the indian dance performance was done by some malay girls and GUYS, how sweeeeeet is thattt! and please note, they're not sissy!

education is not for sale

oh yes i'm still breathing, through my mouth for god's sake!

finally, the lazy me is back. this is what i call heaven, being able to lie comfortably on my bed, with my (ever so lembap) laptop, a regular-sized pizza as dinner and err, stuffy runny nose. looks like heaven doesn't seem so heaven anymore.

great thing is the fever is almost gone. i've been taking paracetamol without fail for the past errr, (let me do the counting) 5 days!! yes, had a intermittend kinda fever since sunday. was fine on monday, but not until the night came and it has been going on till err, today? paracetamol, don't do damage to my liver pls.

i was supposed to have 3 friggin' tests this week. 1 pathology test yesterday, 1 pathology test and 1 microbiology test today. funny thing is, i was up studying microbiology yesternite (note : only microbiology and none from pathology) only to know that the microbiology test is postponed till next week! great! padan muka sendiri sebab study microb je tak study patho, apa bajet superstar in patho?

i guess i'm still a nerd at heart. lol. i actually forced myself to study until the wee hours though i was down with fever and stuffy runny nose. i actually forced myself to go to microb practical when i should be resting at home. okay padahal kena jugak pegi microb for the sake of my attendance kan. padahal 1st test microb dulu i boleh tak study siap berpesta lepas tu markah mcm harem kan. ha amek kau amek kauuu!

okay enough complaining, i'm recovering anyways! home sweet home is 2 weeks away from now. final exam is milessssss away! (lol pls sedar diri) i promise i will sedar by january! yes, not now pls.

karma will haunt u

i've been sooooo busy this past few weeks. been busy with studies (mainly ;p), dinner(s) and doing things that i love! and i must say that though i'm stucked here in india (the last place u wannna go), i'm blessed with friends whom i can trust, rely on, and most importantly, satu kepalaaaaa!! satu kepala is like very crucial or else i'll die of boredom here! so yeah, really love these people <3 u know who u are :D

so btw, had a dinner at baptist hospital last nite. the dinner is meant to celebrate our juniors, the newcomers of baptist hospital students. i must say i'm amazed with the effort done by the doctors. but what disappoints me the most (and maybe the docs?) was the poor feedback from the students. okay seriously, tak ramai yg pegi. and that's so sad okay considering the effort done by the docs siap panggil catering, pasang khemah, letak balloons all over the khemah, they even invited some special guests and some of them actually prepared themselves to do a performance!!!

are the students too busy to attend such a meaningful yearly event? hello, the docs are BUSIER than we students and yet they can still make some time to celebrate us, i repeat, CELEBRATE US and still some students don't appreciate that!

for god's sake they have better things to do other than celebrating us students tapi they did it anyway (coz they love the students?) tapi the students don't even bother to come. lagi seronok duduk dekat rumah bungkus diri dalam selimut sambil tengok cerita dkt laptop etc etc. hah.

i mean, just think this way la kan. katekan u buat birthday party, u ajak 100 people and dah estimate makanan for 100 people, but turns out only 20 people came, sedih kot. buang makanan camtu je. or worst case scenario, u're getting married, ajak 1000 orang, yg datang not even half, sedih kot. anyone believe in karma? huuu, just wait.

susah ah kalau semua benda pun kau nak boikot, semua benda pun kau malas involve. nanti kau mati, orang boikot tanak mandikan mayat kau baru tau. to me, tanak involve and nak memboikot2 tu agak2 la jugak.

and bila the uni buat event yg memerlukan co-operation from the whole batch, pergh, tell me berapa orang yg sanggup co-operate? i remember my zaman sekolah dulu, bila ada event ke apa ade je orang yg volunteer nak buat kerja tu ini. u dun have to beg to ask for people's co-operation. that's the best part of high school! kalau performance tu, ramai gile kot orang volunteer nak perform siap kena ada audition dulu to pick the best performance utk perform masa event tu. that shows that we really did enjoy our high school!

but my batch is not that bad afterall. at least half of the batch is still willing to co-operate and that's a big relief :D i like! but some are still so sombong not to mingle with the rest of the batch-mates to help work things out. well, i assume u have BETTER things to do and that mingling with others is the last thing u want to do.

as for me, this is an opportunity for me to get closer with others. duh we all know semua orang ade clique sendiri but hello, that doesn't mean u can't co-operate and baik2 dgn orang lain right? so bila lagi? takkan geng kau 3 orang lepas tu kau nak mengadap muka 3 orang tu je sampai abis blaja nanti. or takkan sebab kau ada bf/gf dekat sini, kau nak mengadap muka bf/gf kau je sampai abis blaja. lol. borrrrinnngggg *yawn*

okay, i think i've membebel-ed enough. i know i can be a makcik sometimes. so just bear with this makcik's opinion. afterall, this is the makcik's blog so yeah.

p/s : i feel like posting some pics but this laptop is so lembap seperti kura2 so nanti la.

sorry seems to be the hardest word

You don't need a mantra to do a magic. One magic word to me is 'sorry'. Sorry heals a broken heart, the word sorry can save your relationship/friendship and it brings back the smile on one's face. Sorry does wonders.

No matter how simple it is, many people find it difficult to do so.

I believe in saying sorry. Saying sorry doesn't make a person small. Saying sorry doesn't mean defeat. Nevertheless, narrow-minded people do think that way. How sad.

I am sooooo marah when a person who is supposed to say sorry doesn't make any effort to say so, but will keep on acting cool and treat you like nothing ever happen. Why so insensitive?

p/s : magic word doesn't seems so magic to some people, and yes, you can't help feeling foolish after saying sorry to these people.

how cantik is cantik?

i get it. u wanna know the definition of cantik is it?
cantik is beautiful, gorgeous, pretty.

one fun question u shud try asking people around u (especially to guys) is this ;

when do u think a girl is most beautiful?

it started long time ago when a guy told me that he finds a girl is most beautiful when she's wearing her telekung. i was like, are u serious? no i didn't mean wearing telekung makes a girl looks hodoh but i didn't think it makes u look beautiful either. i thought it was weird, so i started asking people around. (err not just random people mind u, they'll think i'm a crazy bitch trying to look beautiful in their eyes wahahaha, i asked few close guy friends laahhh!)

so they answered. some of the answers that i can recall are these ;
  1. when the girl is so focused and serious doing her work, like doing assignments and all.
  2. when the girl wears baju kurung sekolah without her tudung on.
  3. when the girl is blushing
  4. after the girl is out from the bathroom, smiling with her wet hair.
  5. when the girl wears white coat with her spectacles on
  6. when the girl is playing sports
see! the answers are numerous, some of which u can't even think of. i dun even like looking at myself after playing some sports (which is very rare anyway) because i think i look dirty and busuk. hahahah. and still some weird guys thought it is beautiful. now u really can't tell the exact definition of cantik because it varies from person to person. the human eyes do perceive things differently, and interpret things even more differently. ( yes, we don't look through buffalo's eyes don't we? -inner joke of the day- ;p )

to me, though i'm a girl, i do like to look at beautiful girls. i think this is a normal phenomenon, a girl loves looking at another hot girl is like so normal. yes we are straight. hahahaha. to me, every girl has their own charm, it's a matter of whether or not the girl let it out appropriately or not and that includes her dressing, attitude, social skills and most importantly, intelligence!

a girl is most beautiful when she walks and talks with confidence! that's what i think, provided, she takes good care of her skin (skin color isn't an issue if u have flawless skin) and is someone who loves to smile :D but anyway, don't have to do any of these because u don't want to impress me right? ;p so get ur muscles to do extra work for some sports, get focused on doing ur assignments and blush as much as u can, someone might think u look hot doing any of these ;p

so guys, when do u think a girl is most beautiful? (i'm hoping for more weird answers LOL)

p/s : the nerding mood doesn't turn out to be so nerdy. i studied pathology for less than 30 minutes, that too in front of this old laptop of mine ;p okay lah will study harder tomorrow! janji!
